Thanks to the popularity of the wonderful Nancy Birtwhistle, we are finally able to offer vegetable Glycerine as a refill! 

Used in a handful of her eco "recipes" such as her homemade fabric softener and her much loved "cream cleaner", glycerine is a wonderful natural alternative to harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients. It can also be used as an antifreeze! 

If you enjoy making your own beauty products, vegetable glycerine is often used to replace animal fats and make a beauty product vegan friendly. So if you're interested in creating your own hair masks, soaps, or even your own cleanser and moisturisers, vegetable glycerine is a great option. 

• Our Glycerine is vegan friendly, 99.7% pure and suitable for cosmetic use as well as in home cleaning. 
• 100% natural and also food grade
• Viscous clear liquid - a little goes a long way. If you're following some Nancy Birtwhistle recipes, often 35ml or so is enough! 
• Can be used to treat rashes, bedsores, skin conditions
• pH level closely resembles that of our skin, so very gentle and soothing. Homemade fabric softener using vegetable glycerine is worth experimenting with if you have very sensitive skin.
